- Large original oil painting on board, beautifully presented in a bold gallery frame, depicting a cornfield in a countryside landscape, with wild flowers in the foreground, and an expansive cornfield stretching out towards a cottage in the distance. This vibrant, atmospheric original painting is by the English artist William Jones (b.1953 ).William H. Jones was born in Lancashire, and studied art at Bolton College of Art and Design, where he specialised in graphic design. Upon graduating he concentrated his efforts on fine art, and soon made it his profession, holding his first exhibition in 1972. He has since exhibited widely, and still does regularly, and his paintings feature in collections both in this country and abroad, and many have been reproduced as limited edition prints.
