This superb, very realistic, original work was created in 1993, is entitled 'Summer Blue', has vibrant colours and is by the British artist Trisha Hardwick (1949-2022).
Trisha Hardwick was born in the North East of England and after rekindling her love for painting in her thirties she became a professional artist in 1989. Her still life paintings were influenced by the Spanish, Italian and Flemish masters whom she studied in order to produce work that was archivally sound.
