- Original mixed media painting depicting a portrait of a Macaroni Penguin, by the British wildlife artist Trevor Boyer (b.1948 ).Trevor Boyer was born in Castleford, Yorkshire, and studied at Wakefield School of Art. He initially worked as a commercial artist for 9 years, until in 1976, he became professional artist, specializing in paintings of birds. Since then his paintings have featured in numerous publications, including those of Reader's Digest and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, as well as on porcelain products and British postage stamps. His works have also been widely exhibited, including at the Leeds City Museum and the Mall Galleries, London, and feature in collections Worldwide.- Signed by the artist, lower right- Framed and ready to hang, in a moulded gilt frame- Painting size 19cm x 17cm (approx. 7 1/2 inches x 6 3/4 inches)- Frame size 37.5cm x 37.5cm (approx. 14 3/4 inches x 14 3/4 inches)
