- Rare limited edition print, on canvas on board, depicting a pair of Zebra in an African landscape. Beautifully presented in a bold gallery frame, this work is entitled 'Nearest and Dearest', and is by the British wildlife artist Tony Forrest (b.1961 ).Tony Forrest studied art at college in Cornwall, and worked as an illustrator at an advertising agency until 1990 when, having been inspired by the work of renowned artist David Shepherd, he became a professional wildlife artist. His first one-man exhibition saw his works sell out very quickly, and soon after, he took his first trip to Africa. He has since travelled extensively in Africa including to Rwanda to study silverback gorillas, to the Masai Mara to see the great migrations of zebra and wildebeest and to the game parks of Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa.
