Large, superb original pastel painting, beautifully presented in a bold gallery frame depicting a group of racehorses at Newmarket in Suffolk, riding out, away from the viewer. This fabulous painting gives a great sense of atmosphere and movement, is entitled 'Early Morning, Newmarket', and is by the highly talented English artist Tim Steward.

Tim Steward was born in London and originally trained in Town and Country Planning at Cardiff University. He is a self-taught artist who honed his skills studying classical drawing and painting techniques at Lavender Hill Studios in London (now London Fine Art Studios). He works largely with traditional drawing materials, pastel, charcoal and oil and names Degas among his many artistic inspirations. He has exhibit widely including in solo exhibitions in London, Cheltenham, York and Bath and his works feature in the collections of many prestigious corporate and private clients, and is on permanent display in numerous distinguished public venues across the UK including in Queens College Chapel, Oxford and Westminster Hall.
