Original watercolour painting, depicting a Victorian scene in Valley Gardens in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, with people walking on the gardens' paths in the foreground, and central to the work is the magnificent 'Magnesia Well Pump Room' nestled in the lush green landscape beyond. This original work was created in 1979, and is by English artist Susan M Ridyard, who attended the Harrogate School of Art, and who has famously had her artwork of this nature licensed for publishing on greeting cards and jigsaws.
