- Original oil on board painting, depicting a group of musicians around a cafe table in the village of Bellagio, on Lake Como, Italy, by the quirky English artist Sue Atkinson (1949-2021).Sue Atkinson was born in Bradford and attended Wakefield College of Art. In 1999 she became South Yorkshire Artist of the Year and the clammer for her work has grown ever since. The subjects of her paintings are carefully observed scenes of everyday life, such as children playing and beach scenes, which she paints both in her studio and on the beach at Runswick Bay, a scenic village on the Yorkshire Coast just outside Whitby.
