  • Large original watercolour painting, depicting a view of Ramsey Shipyard on the Isle of Man, England, by the Isle of Man based, Italian artist Michele Tramontana (b.1947 ).

Michele Tramontana was born in Sferracavallo, on the Italian island of Sicily, where he lived until 1966, when he moved to the Isle of Man. His interest in painting then began, due to being around his father-in-law who was an artist, he joined the local Mannin Art Group and just six months later, was awarded second prize in their winter exhibition. He held his first exhibition in 1979, and, 10 years later, opened his own gallery and became a full-time artist, and further successful exhibitions followed. Today his works feature in both public and private collections around the World from Europe to Australia and the United States to South Africa.
