  • Original, still life, oil on board painting, depicting a jug of liquid on a windowsill, looking out on a lush green garden.  This evocative original painting is by the contemporary artist Meredith Ramsbotham (b.1943 ).
     
    Meredith Ramsbotham was born in Haifa, Palestine, educated in Melbourne, Australia, and Cranborne Chase, and studied art at The Slade School of Fine Art.  She is a glass engraver, illustrator and painter, who works in both oils and watercolours, and has exhibited widely.  Her sought after original still life paintings are subjects of private commissions, and feature in numerous private and public collections, including in the Courtalds Collection and The Arts Council of Great Britain.
