  • Original surreal watercolour painting, depicting an anthropomorphic cow as the 'Countess of Hereford' standing in front of 'Trerice Manor', the historic National Trust property in Newquay, Cornwall. This painting originally featured in an exhibition in Bath in 1980, and is by the listed English artist Malcolm Ashman (b.1957 ).
     
    Malcolm Ashman was born in Bath, and studied at The Somerset College of Art. He is an Academician at the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) and a member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI). He has exhibited widely in London and the south of England, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Columbia Threadneedle Prize.
