This fabulous fine-detailed painting is by the British artist Lesley Hammett (b.1955 ).

 

Lesley Hammett began to paint professionally in the early 1970s, painting in many different styles and medium’s, but with a particular passion for working in oils and acrylics. She works from her studio at home in the heart of the English countryside, creating works so sought after that they have been reproduced as limited edition prints, greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles. She has exhibited widely and today her paintings feature in many private collections.
