Large, extremely rare (one of only 50 limited editions ever produced) and beautifully framed, limited edition fine art giclee print on paper on board, depicting, King Charles the third in 2008, when he was His Royal Highness Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. The image was taken in 2008, by the renowned, award-winning, Royal photographer John Swannell (b.1946 ).
John Swannell was born in London, and started work as an assistant at Vogue Studios, then assisted iconic photographer David Bailey for four years, before setting up his own studio, where he worked for magazines such as Vogue, Harpers & Queen, The Sunday Times and Tatler. In 1993 he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society, and a year later was personally commissioned by Princess Diana to photograph her together with her sons.
