Original limited edition print, depicting a view of Westminster, London in winter, with people browsing around market stalls on the snow-covered bank of the River Thames in the foreground, and the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beyond. This limited edition print is entitled 'Winter's Day, Westminster', and is by the award-winning Brazilian artist Henderson Cisz (b.1960 ).
Henderson Cisz was born in a small village near Maringa, Brazil. He showed a talent for art from an early age, but, initially worked in banking and only painted as a hobby, until 1986 when he decided to move to London to study painting, in order to make this his profession. He began painting portraits of passing tourists on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue, before transferring to the railings of the Bayswater Road, where he attracted the attention of galleries and collectors. From here, his career took off, and today he paints full time in his London studio, and is represented nationally by Clarendon Fine Art.
