  • Original oil on canvas painting, depicting sheep grazing on a roadside in The Wicklow Mountains National Park, near Dublin in The Republic of Ireland, by the renowned, listed Irish artist Gerry Marjoram (b.1936 ).

Gerry Marjoram was born in the Liberties area of Dublin, and, when painting as a hobby became a passion, he went on to study art at the National College of Art under Maurice MacGonigal and Sean Keating. His first major break came when Combridge's Fine Art Gallery in Dublin began to represent him, afterwhich the demand for his works was such that by 1970 he had turned to painting as a profession. He has since enjoyed numerous one-man shows and today, his paintings feature in private and public collections across the globe, including notably, the Irish Embassy in Prague.
