  • Original 1970's aviation oil painting depicting a Boeing 707-436 Intercontinental commercial aircraft in flight, with the airline registration G-APFB. This airplane was operated by BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) from 1960 to 1974, and has recreated here in oils by the aviation artist Donald Graham Chatfield (1933-2007).
     
    Donald Graham Chatfield was born in Northampton, he painted in both oils and watercolours and at least two of his works are held in the National Collection at Chester Town Hill and in the Teignmouth and Shaldon Museum.
