  • Large, rare limited edition print, beautifully presented in a gallery frame, depicting the interior of a very traditional barber's shop. Created in a classical broken image style, this work is entitled 'La Barberia de Antonio', and is by the highly collectable, winner of the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2014, Christian Hook (b.1971 ).
     
    **IMPORTANT: Due to the size of this piece, we will deliver this item personally within a 25 mile radius of Harrogate, outside of this area we would use a courier, in which case we will remove the glass and it will be sent unglazed, alternatively, you are of course more than welcome to collect the item in person**
     
    Christian Hook was born in Gibraltar, and studied illustration at Middlesex University before working as an illustrator for Disney and later lecturing at the Royal College of Art. In 2014 he won the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year contest, was awarded the Freedom of the City of Gibraltar in 2017, and his work featured prominently in the 2019 opening exhibition of Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in Hampstead. He now works as a full time artist, inspired by classical art and the broken image, depicting motion, time and the moments that occur between events. His work is included in numerous important collections including that of HRH Prince Edward.
