Bruce Pearson lives in Cambridge, England, and studied at both The Great Yarmouth College of Art, and The Leicester Polytechnic where he graduated with a BA in Fine Art in 1973. As a professional artist of nearly 50 years, he has travelled across the globe to study wildlife subjects in their natural landscape, producing small sketches or larger more considered drawings or paintings to take back to his studio where the accumulation of his preliminary studys are turned into new works. As well as exhibiting widely both in the UK and overseas, he has written and illustrated a number of books, and was an elected member and president of the Society of Wildlife Artists, and vice president of the Artists for Nature Foundation.
