This vibrant original painting is by the renowned, highly-collectable English artist Ben Maile (1922-2017).Ben Maile was born in Northhamptonshire, where he lived until he was 14 years old, when his family moved to London. He served in the RAF as a wireless operator in Bomber Command, and then moved to Newquay shortly after 1945. He was a self-taught artist whose work was popularized over the years through coloured reproduction prints.
