This painting is by the artist B Riley, and is painted in the style of the Italian artist Maria Gianni, with one of her trademark figures in the foreground, carrying a ceramic pot on her head.- Signed lower right- Framed, glazed and ready to hang, in a moulded wooden frame- Frame size 61.5cm x 32cm (approx. 24 1/4 inches x 12 1/2 inches)- There are a few feint spots of foxing in the sky area above the fortress (see image), otherwise both painting and frame are in excellent condition- Excellent investment- Original gift
