  • Original exhibited pastel painting, depicting a view of The Langdale Valley in The Lake District, Cumbria in winter, with sheep grazing beside the river in the foreground, and the snow-covered mountains of Cumbria beyond.  This original work was created in 1984, is entitled 'February in The Langdale Valley', and is by the listed Yorkshire artist Angus Rands (1922-1985)
     
    Angus Bernard Rands was born in Ilkley in Yorkshire and worked as a business representative before becoming a full-time artist in 1960.  He was a self-taught artist who was best known for his landscape paintings of Yorkshire and the North of England

    - Framed and ready to hang, in its original off-white, gilt-trimmed, moulded period frame
